In the harbour of Trieste some packages of the most expensive roasted coffee beans have been stolen – but this doesn’t worry Commissario Laurenti. He is more concerned about the dead body which has been found drowned in the Gulf of Trieste, and about the blackmail of a prominent English congresswoman, followed by the troubling investigative report about the Ethiopian origin’s of a journalist. In his seventh case Commissario Laurenti will have to use not only his charm and stubbornness but also his courage to catch the adversary.
